Last semester was a huge step forward for the Coalition, thanks in no small part to our members' strong motivation to move the organization in a forward direction. The goal now is to keep that strong forward momentum going into the new semester.
The Fall '08 semester saw some major events, including National Coming Out Day, Gayzertag, the Prop 102 Dialogue, and Transgender Day of Remembrance. All of these events were major successes! The upcoming semester's calendar is even more packed. This is the semester to get involved with the coalition.
For all of you out there who haven't yet participated in one of our events, I would encourage you to start by coming to the Spring Welcome on January 28 at 7pm (location TBA). We'll have all of our member organizations represented there, and there will be plenty of people in the same situation you're in.
For our current members, the first meeting of the semester is Thursday January 22 at 6pm at or around the Coalition Office (MU 340). Let's start this semester off by planning a great Spring Welcome!
